I recently purchased a smartwatch and attached a metal strap to it. Concerned that the watch's heart rate sensor on the bottom might be damaged by the metal when I removed the strap without placing it in a charging stand, I turned to my "Watch Board" solution. Once installed, I discovered that handling my watch for setup was significantly more comfortable. If this solution proves useful to others, I plan to add more sizes to the available options, as the current four are only slightly different in measurement, varying by just a few millimeters.
