Watch Band Retainer

Watch Band Retainer

thingiverse

I woke up one morning to find that my watch band retainer had broken, a small part that keeps the extra watch band in place. I've no interest in buying a new watch and with a 3D printer on its way, I thought I'd give this a try. The design is based on the dimensions of my existing broken part from my CASIO watch, which has a 3/4 inch band. As a total newbie to 3D printing, I imagine that using TPU or another flexible filament would be perfect, but standard PLA or ABS should also work well. If you decide to print this design, please let me know how it turns out and if any adjustments are needed - I'd be happy to make them. This part was created in SolidWorks, and I've included both an STL file and a SLDPRT file for download, which are identical copies of each other - so only bother downloading the one you need.
