Freddy is an internet enabled plant watering moisture detecting frog powered by a Spark IoT controller. Users can access and care for their favorite plants from anywhere using the Phil and Freddy app series. Why Choose Watagage 2000? Before the days of widespread internet access, I designed and built a pioneering plant moisture detecting device called Watagage with a friend. It featured unconventional yet effective components like coat hanger wire legs and plastic Easter eggs as the body. A silicon controlled rectifier and a precision potentiometer allowed us to trigger a tiny light when soil reached a specified level of moisture. **Printing Freddy** Print Freddie supported. It requires almost eight hours. Additional Resources For more details on the electronics, go to http://www.instructables.com/id/Watagage-2000/
