Waste Board Corner Guide Bracket
thingiverse
I built these corners for my Lowrider v2 CNC. They rest on my 1/2-inch thick MDF waste board, but the key is that the MDF sheet is a massive 97 inches by 49 inches, which is one inch larger on each dimension than standard 4x8 sheet stock. With all four corners in place, I can drop a full sheet of 4x8 material down and it will be perfectly centered. There are three different heights for the corner files: The tall ones stand up 3/4 inch above the 1/2-inch waste board. The medium ones rise 1/2 inch above the 1/2-inch waste board. The short ones stand only 1/4 inch above the 1/2-inch waste board. The photo is of the tall version, but I'm going to try the short one next because it's hard to locate the origin of the router bit in a corner if you're cutting material thinner than 3/4 inch.
