Wasp Trap (redesigned!)

Wasp Trap (redesigned!)

Easily transform your old soda and drink bottles into wasp traps, cap prints quickly and is reusable! I'd love to see how many wasps you catch if you print one! To witness my design process from start to finish, watch the YouTube video at https://youtu.be/EpzpM1o6i6k. REDESIGN NOTES: After several weeks of use, I made significant improvements. The size of the funnel has been increased to accommodate large wasps. The flower is now a wild rose-style design that prints with detailed petals. The flower is thicker, ensuring the bottle won't shatter if knocked over. Additionally, I incorporated a new cap design that uses less plastic and looks sharper. Printed on a Printrbot Simple Metal at 0.15mm resolution in PLA (1.75mm). Designed in 123D Design and sliced in Cura. Fill with dish soap to break surface tension and beer, which attracts wasps but not bees. I utilized JBijnens' soda cap model for threads found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:806488. For the redesign, I used mile_zdr's Nozzle Bottle Cap found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:699358.
