This is my entry for the WASP Contest !!! I've optimized the space available in a Big Delta WASP 3MT Printer, which has a diameter of 1000 mm according to the brief guide. All you need to do is place the file on your favorite slicer with the chair positioned as shown in the two pictures, and then sit back and enjoy when it's ready - I completed more than just this project, by the way, using the data provided for a 1:10 scale model. As for printing the full-scale version, I haven't tried it yet since I don't have access to a large 3D printer, but why not give it a shot? I believe that the best nozzle size to use with the WASP 3MT will be either 3 or 4 mm in order to achieve three shells as indicated on the brief guide. This is based on my understanding of the "stair capacity" of a 3D printer. I was thrilled to design this Voronoi pattern and can only dream of seeing it printed at full scale.
