Washing Machine Motor 2Piece Bolt on Cooling Fan 15mm Axis
thingiverse
I built a fan for my electric motorcycle project, which utilizes a universal brushed washing machine motor with multiple stages of gearing to provide the necessary uphill torque. I want to thank RENNAT for publishing the openSCAD source that I used to create this! This design has not yet been tested in longer operation and considering these motors can spin over 12,000 rpm without any load, I have no idea if it will be strong enough to stay on with the two M3x20 screws currently being considered. I printed this fan in PETG and everything except the thin ends appears quite sturdy! You can modify this design by using the included OpenSCAD source. The geardown process also involves a different design, which you can check out at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3699829.
