Human: Overview Part to replace a broken impeller from a Whirlpool AWM 6130 drain pump (pump assembly part number: 4812 310 28144, pump only part number: 4619 710 77501). It will likely work on some other Whirlpool, AEG machines. The plan is to heat then fit the new impeller onto the pump's shaft. The pump remains in good working order except for the broken impeller. So before spending money on a new pump, it's worth trying this fix to give the pump more life. It will likely not work for long. Results 3/11/14 The part printed with no issues and was successfully heated up to over 80° C, pressed onto the pump's spindle, and installed. So far, it works well, although no washes above 60° C have been attempted. I will update if anything needs updating. "Washer thing 2" was used for this. The fit is a little rough due to dimensional inaccuracies in the printer, which can be fixed if needed. Update 25/11/14 After about a month of use, it's functioning fine with all temperatures of wash cycle (30 thru 95°). So I think I will call this complete. Update 15/02/2018 Over 3 years later, the pump is still working as it should.
