This nifty gadget lets you rapidly count holes in washers or any other hole you need to measure quickly. It's placed close by my drawers so that I can effortlessly categorize washers according to their specific sizes easily. It's calibrated using metric units, apologies to my US-based colleagues, and it measures holes ranging from M2.5 up to M14 accurately. The tip begins at 2.5mm then expands incrementally through the following measurements: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, before culminating at its outer casing of a full 14mm diameter. Originally, I thought to put labels on each separate ring but struggled to complete this project and left it unattended. I still intend to go back and accomplish this goal which is marked clearly as a work in progress now. To use this thing:
