This is a versatile wash basket equipped with an agitator at its core, ideal for handwashing delicate items or as a backup when the main washer fails. Its portability makes it easy to transport and use anywhere. Additionally, a small hole at the bottom enables the basket to rotate clothes using a DC motor without manual intervention. To prevent water leakage, it is advisable to print this design with a low layer thickness. Following some initial tests, I discovered that a 10% infill and 4-layer wall thickness effectively prevents water from escaping. Building on this success, I optimized the wash basket's capacity by thinning its walls and enlarged the agitator to ensure better cleaning of clothes. The agitator can be detached for use with a standard bucket, offering increased versatility. Meanwhile, I am working on developing a manual mechanism to enhance portability. Furthermore, I plan to create a "holed" version that allows for spinning dry clothes after agitation.
