Updated the gears to use about 20% less filament Problem: anycubic makes an M3 Max, but no wash and cure max. Solution: anycubic releases a wash and cure max. Second best solution: turn your wash and cure plus into a wash and cure max. I often found myself struggling for space when trying to cure large prints in my wash and cure plus. I was honestly quite surprised no one had designed one of these things before, so I did. This is a very basic device that will shift the mounting point of the curing plate of about 10cm towards the front of the machine, away from the LED pillar, and transfer the rotating motion to the new mounting point (the rotation direction will be inverted. I know I could counter this with an extra gear, but I don't see a reason to). This will effectively increase the max effective diameter of the machine to about 40cm, which should be more than enough to handle pretty much anything that will come out of an M3 max. I think this is simple enough to put together that I won't need to write a step by step guide for it, if you need reference just have a look at the exploded view in the pictures. It just plugs into the machine just like a regular plate would, no modifications required. Just know you'll need a couple of m3 nuts, three m3 screws and four 608 bearings to put this together. You can fit everything on two batches from an ender 3 build plate (the gears are big.) Obviously you won't be able to use the yellow acrylic cover while using this mechanism. You'll need to cover the optical sensor on the back of the LED pillar in order for the machine to cure without the cover on, and ideally you should improvise a cover to keep the UV inside. A big enough cardboard box with the bottom cut out (optionally lined with aluminium foil or other reflective material) should be more than enough.
