The Terracotta Warriors stand as a testament to Qin Shi Huang, China's first Emperor, with their intricate depictions of his mighty armies. This funerary art was deliberately buried alongside the emperor in 210-209 BCE, serving as a powerful guardian for his eternal journey. Unearthed by local farmers in Lintong County, outside Xi'an, Shaanxi, China, in 1974, these remarkable figures date back to around the late third century BCE. In 2007, estimates revealed that the three pits containing the Terracotta Army held over 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses, and an impressive 150 cavalry horses. These warrior replicas showcase their strength and grandeur, as captured by National Geographic's high-resolution scans of selected pieces on loan to the US. The STL model was created from a precise scan of the original cast of one such ancient figurine, meticulously crafted for preservation and appreciation.
