Warp Core Table Lamp

thingiverse

The Warp Core Table Lamp replicates Star Trek: TNG's iconic prop, designed for easy printing in modular parts without support. Customize the height to your preference and add a futuristic touch to any room; even Geordi would approve! Watch it pulse on YouTube (http://youtu.be/78uyXZ--UQI). Inexpensive blue icicle lights from Amazon (http://amzn.to/2HfJ17Q) create the desired effect. Instructions for printing and assembly are available, along with optional support pieces to prevent warp core breaches and a photo showing how to install white LEDs for a cool middle glow (http://amzn.to/2CiERIw). Don't forget to print Dilithium Plugs, Lights, and MARC Lights (x2) with translucent plastic for accurate screen representation. When inserting lights, avoid forcing them into supports; instead, gently bend the ring part of supports like a flower opening its petals. The parts stack on top of each other, potentially needing glue for added strength but offering easy adjustment accessibility. Ensure proper scaling considering the base's diameter is nearly 14cm.
