Warning sign (Hot surface sign)
thingiverse
If you don't have a printer that supports large enough build areas or multiple colors in one print, consider printing all four pieces separately. I haven't printed this design myself because I'm still waiting for my 3D printer to arrive; I'll be getting it for Christmas. If the design doesn't work out as planned, I will redesign it from scratch. If you're unsure about assembling the parts, check out the tutorial below. To set up: 1. Apply glue to the hole of the bottom part where the pin/plate goes in. 2. Allow the glue to dry after inserting the pin/plate into the hole. 3. Apply glue to the engraved "wall" and attach the top part, letting it dry completely. 4. Attach the text and wait for it to dry. If you didn't print the text separately or use a different color, simply paint or color it. Update Log: Version 1.1: The bottom part's text is now engraved correctly. Version 1.2: Printable text has been added.
