This holder prevents the strap from being placed on the original platen that came with the printer. The images show that the original plate has to be drilled into the strap, which can cause it to deteriorate before it is ready and even break when drilled. To install this bracket, a small change must be made. The trolley's strap fixer is placed on the support created. Two screws are placed on the trolley, on which the belt is easily attached by flanges. I hope that the images shown will help you with your installation.
