Warlayer Sliding Doors
thingiverse
While I enjoyed the sliding door that came with the Warlayer kick-starter, I wanted to see doors held by the actual wall. After a bit of tinkering, I came up with a two-piece door design. I tried to replicate Andrew's original style in my creation so the new files wouldn't look out of place. If this is well-received, I think I'll also create a single sliding door. Just like the original kick-starter, these files don't require supports to print, so simply place them on the bed, add brim if desired, and start printing. To assemble the door, make two parts: the top and the main body. Insert each part in the correct orientation and then push the top in with the groove facing down. Make sure the doors move smoothly as you'd like, and if necessary, glue the top in place. This design is still a work in progress, so I welcome any other ideas or feedback you may have.
