WARGENTIN moon crater and eruptive suburbs
thingiverse
Crater Wargentin sits close to Shickard, but spotting it proves tricky. However, this crater is unique because its lava fills the entire depression. The data used for this object comes from the 2016 LROC DEM tif, a massive file weighing in at 7.9 Gigas, with pixel precision of 256 per degree. To handle such a large file, I split it into ten smaller parts. This is an ultra-high-definition elevation model of the Moon's surface. Coming soon will be the entire Moon divided into eight STL files for download.
