wargame rivers

Note - a small width error on the island sections has been corrected on July 11, 2020. This design contains Wargames River sections with more to come. The scale is perfect for 10mm but can obviously be scaled up. Low profile yet strong, making it ideal for modeling purposes. A small confession here - not all flat sections are actually 6" length as a measuring error was made, but they fit quite nicely on the Ender 3 plate! Separate printable banks are available for the flat straight sections if you wish to add them separately. Note that these are designed to be steep banks on the river side and shallower on the grass side. The idea is to glue these to the straight flat river and then model your own banks on the other flat sections to a similar shape if desired. A picture shows a shorter straight flat with these banks glued on and tarted up with flock and paint, next to some bendy plain sections. There are also two wider sections - one with a 'bulge' so that you can model a small island and another that goes from narrow to wide. Combine two of these and you can model a larger island in the centre, or add wide straight sections to model longer islands etc. I have also created new straight and curved sections with built-in slightly steeper banks included. These are compatible with each other but are slightly steeper than the separate banked sections I created. They are useful if you don't want to model your own banks though and to be honest, you barely notice the difference on the table anyway. I'm restricted on the curvature for the curves with banks so this will probably be the only one. I've also added pre-banked straight wide sections. These were all designed to enable me to accurately model the River Boyne which was impossible to do with commercially available rivers. I'll add more 'finished product' pics once I have them. Please comment if any request for specific extensions as I should easily be able to create and add them.
