Wardrobe pantograph pull down hanging rail

I circled the broken area on one of the pictures. My wife had damaged it at some point in time. What I did was replicate the original design's layout, printing it vertically (T shape) because printing cylinders horizontally presents more challenges. It held up for a while, but my wife ended up breaking it again... I discovered the reason - when printed vertically, the part isn't strong enough due to layer positioning opposing typical force applied during regular use. So I tried orienting the part horizontally, but that resulted in a failed print... Then an insight struck me - why was I exactly copying the model with its exact cylindrical shape?! Maybe it makes sense for manufacturers using plastic molding techniques. So I rebuilt it in a square shape and added extra functionality while doing so, enabling users to perform lateral pulling movements (as shown in the animation). To assemble the part, you'll need a 4mm bolt and nut.
