I had to use Meshmixer to separate the shells and resize them so they would fit my son perfectly. I uploaded the separated files, along with the originals, as a Re-make with permission from the original creator. About the build: I used approximately 100 Brass Fasteners that cost around $3.00 USD each. You can find them on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/ACCO-Brass-Paper-Fasteners-Plated/dp/B002YK4IHA/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=brass+fasteners&qid=1572505569&sr=8-4. I was initially going to use Elastic, but decided on leather instead and bought some scraps from Michael's Arts and Crafts that cost me around $10.00 USD. I also purchased 1in x 3/4in center bar shoe buckles for the buckles on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FSARXM4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. In total, I went through around 3 1/2 spools of filament (some of that due to error in resizing), and the costume cost me approximately $80.00 USD. It was definitely worth it.
