From the film War Of The Worlds 1935. For some fun, I created this model. I should have taken time to paint it and smooth out any rough spots. It will fit on a build plate of 235 X 235 (Ender 3 size). The main body and then the front "eyes" section. I printed it in three parts as you can see. I really should have been more patient and done the body in one piece. I have some vacuum cleaner hose for the "neck". It looks like it will also work at a smaller scale (I'm trying that). It printed well at 30%. Maybe I wouldn't go much smaller, though. The screw for the holder has a slot to let wire pass through if you wanted lights inside.
