War Gaming Counters

I got fed up with using dice for wounds and other tabletop war games like Warhammer 40K. I didn't want to spend $5+ per dial from various websites, nor did I love most of the designs available on Thingiverse, so I decided to get creative and make my own. These are meant to be single or double-digit counters that can be used for anything you desire. To keep the font size a bit bigger, I didn't create a double-digit single dial version; each dial only counts 0-9. I designed these to use a 10 mm by 1 mm thick magnet in both the top and bottom. This helps keep them together while giving enough friction to prevent them from turning on their own. You will need to print one number dial for the single-digit tops, two dials for each double-digit top, and three dials for each triple-counter top (hopefully that's obvious). I've included four different number dials with the numbers facing different directions. Be sure to print the correct facing numbers for what you want. You can see more images of printed items and designs on my wargaming blog. I've personally taken the blank tops and added designs for my armies in Warhammer 40K. It works really well, but as Games Workshop owns most of the logos/icons I used, and I don't feel the need to be sued, I won't post any of their copyrighted material here. 10/17/18 - I added notched number dials, a triple counter, and a STEP file containing the basic shapes in a more editor-friendly format. 10/30/18 - I removed the notched number dials and added a 1-7 dial (for 40K turns). I also changed the back side of the tops and the magnet area on the numbered dials to be simple yet keep them together while you're turning them. Both pieces are now 1 mm taller each, and I increased the size of the wholes to accommodate slightly larger magnets than 10 mm in diameter.
