The worn sculpture of the Capitoline Wolf sits proudly in the entrance hall of Burg Gars am Kamp, a testament to the region's rich history. A group of figures from the 18th century, likely once a crest stone, now pays tribute to the Rummel von Waldau family, whose emblem is cleverly integrated into the depiction of the she-wolf nursing Romulus and Remus. This noble family, once owners of the lands Gars and Buchberg am Kamp, left their mark on this stunning piece of art.
