Wansview 1080P USB cam mount for 20mm Ball joint
thingiverse
This is a custom bracket for my 20mm ball and socket camera mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4586256). I found the 1 metre long ribbon cable of the Pi-Cam was picking up interference and causing image instability. So I elected to buy a cheap and cheerful USB webcam to feed into Octoprint and timelapse etc. Works a treat and all you need to do is remove the philips headed screw from the original camera mounting clamp and slide out the hinge pin. The camera can now be removed from the clamp and fitted to the printed part, using the original hinge pin and screw. Fit the M3 x 20 cap head screw into the base of the mount before fitting the camera to the mount. Fix assembly to the top face of the ball of the "Ball and Socket" mount. Now I know it all works, I must get round to printing the whole thing in Black for the Predator.
