This is a functioning prototype of a File Cabinet s23w key, crafted with precision and innovation as a tribute to German engineer Felix Wankel's groundbreaking rotary engine design. The unique head of the key is shaped like a rotor, paying homage to Wankel's unconventional genius. I designed the key myself to perfectly match a lock that was lying idle, awaiting its perfect mate. After carefully cleaning the tip with a bit of PLA to smooth out some rough edges, the key seamlessly fits into the lock and operates smoothly.
