Wanhao, Powerspec i3 Plus Extended Spool Holder 90mm

I designed an extended spool holder resembling the factory-supplied nylon one from Wanhao. Created in Autodesk Inventor 2018, this design mimics the look of the original part that came with the printer. Using Cura for Wanhao, I printed the spool holder with supports throughout, as it was necessary for its structure. While a 100% infill would have made it incredibly sturdy, I opted for a 60% infill rate, along with a 1.2mm shell diameter and 1.2mm top and bottom layer thickness, all printed at a 0.1mm layer height. When using black filament, the finished product should closely resemble the original spool holder that came with the printer. The thread on this design matches the threading found on the black nylon nut supplied by Wanhao. On May 2nd, 2019, I added an attachment to hold a 93mm spool, as my latest purchase was slightly larger than 90mm. Additionally, I included a replica of the original nylon nut in my design. The nut itself was printed with 100% infill for maximum durability.
