Wanhao/Monoprice i3 Mini Extruder
thingiverse
This is an upgrade for the Wanhao/Monoprice Duplicator i3 Mini, not compatible with Monoprice Select Mini. This upgrade supports flex filaments as well as stronger feed of PLA and PETG, ensuring no slipping occurs. You will get consistent extrusion. Note that this upgrade won't solve bed adhesion issues. For all 3D printers with non-heated beds, I have found the best solution to be three steps: First, make sure you are getting a good first layer by leveling the bed as much as possible. Second, use a can of hair spray (AquaNet is the best) and spray a short amount on the bed surface before printing. This will correct 80-90% of adhesion problems after leveling the bed (helping the part to stick to the build surface). Third, replace your old build surface with a quality one, like the Th3d Ezmat Build Surface found at https://www.th3dstudio.com/product/th3d-ezmat-build-surface/. Remove the old surface and clean the plate before adding a new one. I use all of these methods together and get great prints from this little printer. This extruder has three arm options: Standard: for plain filament feed. PTFE: for a press fit PTFE tube out to your roll or dry box. Bowden Fitting: If you are going to use a PC4-M6 Bowden Tube Fitting and an M6 nut.
