Wanhao Mark 2 probe
thingiverse
This modification is specifically designed for relocating the stock probe on the i3 Plus Mark 2 printer to the front, allowing for the use of a rear-mounted cooling fan similar to the CiiiCooler. I anticipate that someone will inevitably ask, "Why not print it on the long flat side?" The firmware will need to be updated with my custom branch of a forked version of ADVI3++: Mainboard: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1T19HTmWKvzRWZA8KxicIwsa2WjDQw3eq LCD: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bSu_k9UbSu5Q7ZZ_kqCU3YgF4Vajv4aT Source: https://github.com/churd83/ADVi3pp-Marlin/tree/Mark2_Front-Probe When installing the Probe mount, slide it all the way to the right as far as it will go before tightening. If you don't slide it all the way to the right then it won't be in the correct location for what the firmware thinks it is and might cause issues. You'll need to manually set the z-offset using gcode commands with a tethered computer. If you're not familiar with this process, there are plenty of clear videos on YouTube that explain it very well. Since this firmware is a fork of the original source, I didn't edit the touchscreen menus to make it easier for inductive sensors. The touchscreen options have Bltouch menus and I wouldn't recommend using them as they won't help you since you're obviously not using a Bltouch. I've submitted a pull request to the original developer with hopes for future development on this printer. If you want to keep the stock location of the probe, use this firmware for the Mainboard: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bG7zxwauCJsV18hA8incg7YkoyLyTHnN If anything doesn't work as it should, please let me know what the issue is and I'll see if I can fix it.
