I really like Polysquare's fan adapter, except for the approach they took to putting the fan in - partially screwing in the course fan screws and then sliding them into slots. I wanted a more secure connection, so I added recesses to slide in 8-32 nuts to use long 8-32 socket cap screws for a tighter attachment. I increased the loft from inlet to outlet to make the overhang for printing more gradual and added material to the area where the nuts are located. I also created a notch near one of the four mounting holes to clear the wire for the fan to enter the shroud where it exits the Noctua fan. Since you already need to print this, adding support for the hole where the power switch/power connector goes is necessary, and you will need it in the nut pocket areas anyway. I only made these modifications to the version with the printer cable bundle and power input connector on the same side, as that is the version I used for my setup. I attempted to create a version with the part threaded for the fan cap screws, but the threads were too weak with such large screws, so I switched it to pockets for the hex nuts instead.
