All files loaded here are completed files and are currently in use on the printer. This is my "Current config" type folder because I am always upgrading everything. Everything has been printed and thoroughly tested working properly. I utilize igus on the Z, but I will also make sure to create a set for LM8UU's. Currently, the printer features a bowden E3D with one of the splitters for multi-color and 3 extruders. It currently boasts a build volume of 200x200x225, I'm uncertain how much more I want to stretch that because I wish to keep the all-metal frame. I have not created a Z brace for it yet, I am currently using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:921948 with the PLUS feet. Install: Reverse entire tower and install backwards, install front Z braces to rear of printer. Install new X assembly. I reversed the sides of the X motor, but you can mirror the x-ends in your slicer if you want to keep it stock. Install new end-stop switch because the print-head will sit a lot lower. When installing new X assemble, install the crash pins on top of the Z rods. Extruders/spool: I have an extruder bolted to the top bolts that hold the rod(stock stuff) on both sides with a spool holder on both sides hanging off the top side screws. I use 5/16 rod and the bearing spool holders to hold the spools for each side. The fancy nut allows you to adjust preload on the bearing so the spools don't just spin free, the spool side just touches the bearing, it is not completely threaded. === Do this for both sides. The third extruder uses the stock spool location to bolt down and just bolt the stock extruder right to it.
