I needed a hassle-free filament runout sensor for my Wanhao i3(Maker Select v2.1) that would seamlessly integrate between the spool holder on the top gantry and also serve as a reliable filament guide. I cleverly combined and adapted <strong>barrettdent</strong>'s End of Filament Sensor (Switch) REMIX and <strong>cyul</strong>'s Wanhao i3 Duplicator Filament Guide v2 to create a simple yet effective mounting system. I opted for these micro switches that I had readily available, but others should also work just fine.
