Wanhao i3 extruder plate for flex plastics

This is an upgraded extruder plate designed specifically for the Wanhao i3 duplicator and similar printers with identical extruders. The plate features significantly narrower gaps between the feeder gear and the extruder itself, allowing for increased pressure on flexible filaments. It also works effectively with rigid filaments, making it easier to install new filament. Printed using PLA at a height of 0.15 mm on the i3 printer itself (equipped with the original plate), this extruder plate does not melt or overheat because the metal bar in the extruder remains cool. You might need to enlarge the filament hole with a drill, but it printed smoothly for me. A new version was uploaded on August 30th, 2018, which suits my printer better; try this one first (-new files). Additionally, SolidWorks files have been made available.
