Wanhao i3 Duplicator v2.1 Glass Bed Brackets
thingiverse
I'm glad you liked the concept of the original design after trying out many others. Most of them didn't fit my machine or glass bed perfectly, so I decided to create a version for the Duplicator v2.1. I used a Signstek 3D Printer MK2 MK3 Heated Bed Tempered Borosilicate Glass Plate 213x200x3mm that I purchased from Amazon, which seems to be what most others use. I designed this bracket in Fusion 360 and exported both the single bracket and all corner bracket designs in IGS and STP format. If you need other formats, just let me know and I'll upload them as well, as long as they're supported by Fusion 360. I'll update this post once I get a chance to print and take some pictures. Please excuse the orientation - it might need to be adjusted. I'm still figuring out why models always come out facing the wrong axis, but I think rotating it -90º on the X should do the trick. Here are my print settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Select v2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.16 Infill: 35% Notes: I usually print in ABS+, but PETG or other high-temperature filaments should work fine. Resolution and infill shouldn't matter. Edit: After printing them and putting them on the bed, it seems like a good fit. However, it's pretty snug, so depending on how exact your glass is, you may need to make a few tweaks. The only thing I didn't consider was that none of this bracket clamps the glass to the bed. That was originally why I wanted this piece, but it might cause issues for glass tops that have warped. We'll see what happens!
