Wanhao Extruder plate for Ninjaflex
thingiverse
I was able to print TPU with minimal issues, but Ninjaflex consistently proved to be a problem. I decided to disassemble the plate every time the filament got stuck and found that the filament was making a loop or escaping through the small space between the wheel and the plate. To resolve this issue, I added a small slip of material to fill in the gap without affecting the wheel's operation. This modification allowed me to print Ninjaflex with success at a decent speed of 50mm/sec. For optimal results when printing this particular plate, I recommend using a small layer size of approximately 0.1mm for ABS. Additionally, take your time when installing the PTFE tube and make sure to trim both tips to create a narrow profile that can be inserted into the plate hole and cooler block. If you fail to do so, the filament will likely start causing problems in this area. I hope my experience can help others who have encountered similar difficulties with Ninjaflex printing.
