I am thrilled to share an upgraded version of the Wanhao duplicator i3 model, which prints itself recursively with ease! This full-size marvel took approximately 20 hours to print, but the best part is that it requires significantly less support material than its predecessors. What's more, I've successfully split this incredible printer into four manageable parts for effortless assembly. My own model consists of three printing plates: one for the Z-frame and buildplate combined, which makes the process even smoother. Feel free to print smaller versions (20-25% of the original size) and attach them directly to the buildplate, giving it a mesmerizing appearance as if it's actually printing itself! Just imagine the delight on your friends' faces when they see this self-printing marvel in action. Now, let's take a look at the print settings I used: **Printer:** Wanhao duplicator i3 **Resolution:** 0.2 **Infill:** 15% **Notes:** For this project, I only utilized support material for the Y-frame and tower components.
