Wanhao Duplicator i3/MP Maker Select i3 Bowden Cold End Extruder Mount

I wanted a simple bowden cold end extruder mount that would fit right under my top mounted filament reel or be flexible enough to slide to another position to support an enclosure mounted filament reel as well. This is what I came up with and it works perfectly for me, so I figured I'd share it in case someone else needs a simple mount. Once the stepper bracket is bolted to this part, you just slide it on. It has a snug pressure fit clip on the back that keeps it firmly in place. Instructions: Print the attached STL file. (Brim suggested to help it stick to plate). On the surface with 6 holes, use four of those holes to bolt your extruder stepper motor bracket into place. I suggest using M3 bolts with nyloc nuts. Simply slide the bracket assembly bolted to this part onto the top of the i3 frame as pictured and pull it toward you about 5 to 8 millimeters to allow the pressure fit clip to engage. Print Settings Printer: Maker Select i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.20 Infill: 20% Notes: I used a 5mm brim for the first two layers to help keep the part from detaching from the print bed.
