Wanhao Duplicator i3 / Monoprice Maker Select V2 Upgrade Part 1 - 2x30mm X-Axis / 30mm Z-Axis

This series will kick off a development of my Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2.1. This episode will push the X-Axis holding frame both 30mm wider and the bridge 30mm higher to allow further advancements. Azza's Z-Brace will be supported throughout this process. Here's how it works: 1. The extensions are for the right side, print them normally or mirrored to get four corners. 2. You'll need longer M3 DIN912 screws, M3 washers, and M3 nuts. 3. Bring the extruder to a middle position in X and Y and place something underneath it because we're touching the frame stability during this process. Turn off the printer. 4. Remove all the screws from the right frame. 5. You'll need every screw to be 5 to 8mm longer than usual. 6. Start with the bottom right corner and refer to the pictures for guidance. 7. If the bottom right is installed, remove the screws holding the bridge, being careful not to damage the spin bars and the holder of the bar. 8. Install the top right corner as shown in the pictures. 9. Remove the left endstop before removing all the screws. 10. Continue with the top left corner. 11. Now install the bottom left corner. 12. You'll need very long screws and four M3 nuts for the reinstallation of the endstop, refer to the pictures for guidance. 13. Make sure everything is at a 90-degree angle and the Z-Axis left and right have the same height. 14. Remove whatever you placed underneath the printhead and try moving it from left to right. Turn on the printer if it moves smoothly. 15. Try moving all the axes with software like Repetier Host, and if everything is fine, send a Home All command. 16.
