This Extruder/hotend assembly is designed to fit the Wanhao Duplicator i3 and other named versions of this printer. It features an easily serviceable design with a highly effective part cooling fan that provides a non-obtrusive view of your prints. The E3D Titan Extruder, a lightweight geared extruder, combined with the E3D v6 hotend, performs superbly with almost every filament available. I use the lightweight Bipolar Nema 17 stepping motor, part number 17HS10-0704S, which is a perfect match for this geared extruder. Even smaller pancake steppers can be used. Features: Adjustable belt tensioning allows for easy adjustments. Easy access to the filament tension screw makes maintenance simple. Exchanging filament is quick and effortless. The fully supported filament path ensures smooth printing with flexible materials. An effective part cooling fan keeps prints cool and prevents warping. The design facilitates easy servicing and access to the extruder. A BLTouch mount positioning system enables auto bed leveling. A fan grill with mount points for the X-axis end stop switch and drag chain adds functionality. Note that about 10mm of the left side of the heated bed is out of reach with this extruder. The maximum print size is 190x200x180mm, which can be achieved by using AZZA's Z Extensions (available on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1444979).
