I loved the original filament guide, but felt that the bond between its two components was somewhat weak. So I chose to melt them together seamlessly. The print stood upright with a raft - I attempted printing without one, but unfortunately, it didn't adhere well enough. This part should be printed without supports, but if you opt for supports, you might achieve a slightly smoother finish on top. I have a cable cover on my 5/16" Z-brace and found that even without a screw, it fits perfectly.
