Problem Solved!!! The original fan sits in between the fan duct and the red metal plate that serves as a base for the extruder. A narrow gap exists between the fan and the red metal plate, limiting the amount of air able to be sucked into the fan, resulting in very low airflow coming out of the original fan duct. This leads to poor filament cooling, of course. This Design switches the mounting position between the fan and fan duct, resulting in a free airflow being able to be sucked into the fan and out of the fan duct. The Design uses the original fan and screws, so there is no need to add any extra elements or materials except for printing the new fan duct. Printed upside down with the fan hole facing up and with no supports needed. It's a simple yet powerful solution.
