I've constructed this carriage with the intention of utilizing 2 x MGN Linear Rails and MGN12H carriages to replace the standard V-Slot system on the Y-axis. You will need two of them. They enable a completely reversible linear rails upgrade for the Y-axis on the D9... It fits the printer perfectly and works flawlessly. You can even reuse the original limit switch by screwing it onto the side of the 2020. After several weeks of being installed on the printer, there's a subtle improvement in the smaller prints I've made, mainly the front and rear faces are definitely straighter, the layers stacked on top of each other in a more uniform manner! Noise is slightly reduced, I believe. Next steps include upgrading X-axis rails, installing an X-axis tensioner, and improving both X and Y axis belts to reduce ghosting!
