Two major annoyances addressed by these modifications: 1. Resin accumulation above the build plate is eliminated by a cover embracing the bracket holding the build plate. The bracket fits entirely inside, preventing resin from reaching the fixing screws and holes in the bracket. A slight displacement of resin may occur, requiring attention when filling the vat and potentially some time before printing begins. Extended holes for securing the entire assembly (build plate, cover, and bracket) allow for correcting eccentricity issues with older build plate mounts, which have a 4.5 mm offset from standard positions. 2. The need for a screwdriver during build plate leveling is eliminated by providing M4x16 hex cap screws paired with a two-part knob. Simply insert the screw into the body part, ensure the hex cap fits securely (tighten using an M4 nut), apply superglue around the hex, and press the cap part on top. For optimal results, use 0.4 mm extrusion width and 0.25 mm layer height with PLA material to avoid chemical interactions between the resin and cover materials. Alternatively, ASA might be a suitable exotic material for the cover. Support is required in the knob body's hex hole during printing. Important: Verify the distance from the screwdriver rod to the slider mount to ensure sufficient space for the knob body neck within your homing configuration. A minimum 5 mm clearance is necessary to prevent mechanical issues.
