This conversion enables the four holes in D7's gantry to accommodate a more widespread anti-backlash nut featuring a smaller shoulder and a reduced arrangement on its securing nuts. I utilized it to upgrade to a TR0801 lead screw with an 8mm diameter and a 1mm pitch, successfully shrinking my Z wobbles and errant layer issues. While these problems did not completely vanish, they became remarkably small.
