This is my take on a dual fan for a Wanhao D6 (and Zortrax M200). I know there are many others out there, but for various reasons, they didn't work for me. I needed a low-profile dual fan holder that could take the heat and also provide adequate space for a silicon boot (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1817230) that fits over the heater block. I also wanted to adjust the exhaust ports to actually blow towards the nozzle and not near it. Lastly, I wanted a bridge support that still allowed access to the heater block set screw. No existing design encompassed all those things. To save someone many future hours of redrawing this again, I am including the 123D Design file, so if you need to make modifications or customizations, you can do it. I borrowed the concept of this design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1667050), but did not use this model. You will need 3 x 3mm screws 15mm long. Also, 3 x 3mm nuts. If you are using a taller fan, add 5mm to the fan thickness for the proper screw length. Obviously, you also need a 24-volt 40mm box fan. The photos are not glamour shots, but they're there to show the spacing between the build plate and the bottom of the right-hand side fan duct. Also, there's a looking-up view to show the spacing of the ducting around the nozzle and the ducts' proximity to the heater block (good clearance). There is a front shot to show access to the cold break set screw. I added a photo to show how "strong" this dual fan holder is. The last photo is the fan holder clamped to a counter while the other side is supporting 1+ Kg of weight. Deflection was minimal when printed in PETG. This dual fan setup can work too well. I have to reduce my fan speed to about 50%, otherwise, the filament gets too cold to bond to the layer below. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao Duplicator 6 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 100% Notes: I am using PETG. I highly recommend PETG for all your structural parts. Good material and seems to handle the heat of the heater block. Many have printed similar parts in PLA, and the heat of the heater block causes the material to soften and drag on the part being printed...not good. ABS should also be good, but I have not printed this part in ABS. How I Designed This 123D Design
