I just redesigned a broken extruder top plate with a DIY solution right here on my desk. It was necessary to switch from ABS due to excessive warping caused by steel screws in my print bed. I'm slightly concerned about the melting risk because it's mounted on top of the extruder. Fortunately, so far it has been functioning perfectly. My prints at 25% infill density seem more durable compared to others. I'm hoping this solution will help someone else facing similar issues.
