WanHao Dial Gage Mount for front fan bracket

Update 2-5-17. The offset difference from nozzle to measuring point didn't sit well, so I've updated the dial gauge holder. Now I can reach all but the last 25mm or so of the bed. The fan mount for the front was drilled to accept the dial gauge rod, and a holder was made to keep it securely mounted. A tip extender had to be added to get the extra reach needed. This ended up being a good thing as it can now be removed and the dial gauge stays out of the way when printing if you want it mounted all the time. Scad files are included, with slight modifications required depending on the hole drilled. Have fun! First two pictures show the differences between the two styles of mounts. The left original holder files are included for those who are okay with the offset and don't want to drill their fan mount. Since mounting my fan behind the X-Axis carriage with this fan duct, I decided that my Dial Gage could use the holes left over from the front fan bracket as a place for a solid mount - easy to see too! Use a 5mm x 20mm bolt and lock nut to hold the Dial Gage to this bracket. Use 3mm x 5mm to hold this to the fan location. This should allow you to move the x and y axis' and easily see the numbers. Version 4 has been rotated and has a split mount for holding the dial gage better. There is a hole for the bolt, but it held tight enough with friction - so a bolt might not be required. OpenSCAD Files are included because that's how I'm learning to use OpenSCAD.
