A Customized Y-Plate for the Wanhao Duplicator I3. Changes Made: - Added a Side-Based Leveling System to Accommodate 3-Point Calibration: Since front or rear leveling locations don't work due to collision with essential components, I positioned the calibration system on the side. This requires rotating the build plate 90 degrees and extending the wires for effective operation. The original hole remains intact for potential cable chain attachment. - Enhanced Bearing and Belt Mounting Holes: These modifications allow users to select from three or four bearings, as well as orient the leveling location to either side. Additional holes provide versatility in setup configurations. - Expanded Leveling Screw Holes by 0.1mm: This adjustment ensures a more secure fit for various calibration requirements. The Y-Plate Can Be Fabricated from 3mm Carbon Fiber or Milled Aluminum. A V2 Version with Slots on the Rear Center Tab Has Been Added: This design feature incorporates zip ties to manage heated build plate wires, reducing stress on solder points under the bed. This improvement was introduced after initial testing revealed its necessity.
