Flexible filament can be easily printed on the Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus without escaping through gaps using this Feeder Back-plate. There are two versions available, one suitable for use with the stock nozzle setup and another designed specifically for the Swiss Micro hot end Mod. The second version features a counter bore on its bottom surface to accommodate the top protuberance of the Swiss Micro assembly. The modified plate includes a small web that aligns perfectly with the pressure bearing groove, preventing flexible filament from escaping through this tiny gap. For optimal results, it is recommended to print at 0.1mm layer height while lying flat on what would be considered the right end surface when looking directly at the print head. Supports are also advised, printed in the material of your choice, as this area remains cool during testing with a TwoBears PLAtech plate. To assemble the Feeder Back-plate, carefully align its small curved web with the groove in the pressure bearing for seamless integration. This innovative design comes from 'What Duck'.
