Wanhao D7 MKS DLP Conversion
thingiverse
This is the first alpha part designed to upgrade my old Wanhao D7 to utilize the new MKS DLP board, along with replacing the UV LED with the same one used on the LD-002R. Historically, the Wanhao D7 was a pretty flawed machine from its inception. It was released early in the tech's development cycle, and the only redeeming quality is its ruggedness. Unfortunately, the electronics were hacked shortly after release to run NanoDLP, as having it tethered to a PC as a secondary screen was considered unacceptable by most users. Moreover, the LED provided was notoriously inadequate, causing numerous printing problems due to its inability to cure resin in a timely manner. I'm pulling this old machine out of storage, dusting it off, and testing its worthiness for reuse. V1 - Initial Release; the next version will feature remote USB connectivity for the front panel.
