WanHao D7 Drip Stand

This is a Drip Stand designed specifically for the Print Plate on WanHao D7 printers and similar models. Its primary function is to hold the Print plate at an angle, currently set at 20 or 30 degrees, allowing excess Resin to drain back into the printer. The stand remains mounted to the printer during prints, eliminating the need for removal and reinstallation with each print. Two versions of this design are available: a 30-degree angle and a 20-degree angle. While both work effectively, the 20-degree version is positioned on the main horizontal support to minimize island and support issues commonly encountered in SLA printers. Either version can be printed on either type of printer. For optimal results, I print these stands as shown and used, but they could potentially be printed in other orientations with additional support. When printing with PLA, I use supports to prevent long bridges from sagging. To achieve the perfect balance between stiffness and lightness, I use PLA with 15% infill and 5-6 perimeters. In contrast, SLA prints are solid for now, although they lack the stiffness of PLA prints but still provide satisfactory results.
